I arrived at receiver at 0600, and went in to sleeper birth, and went to bed. @0930 they awoke me and said I had to leave the premises. I drove to the nearest safe haven, and went back in to sleeper birth. My 14 was up @ 0800 so I drove 30 minutes in Violation. When I woke up at 1600 my clock had reset to 10.5 hours driving and 14 hours total. I always thought when you broke your rest you had to start over and do the full 10 hours again. What am I missing.

E-logs I assume.
Split berth perhaps. -
Split berth wouldn't give you a full 14 though. Something doesn't make sense.
-
You probably did your 10 hr break and didnt realize it.
-
can't be split berth, when I went in to sleeper, I only had 2 hours left on my 14. It was elogs, and I did remark that I was looking for safe haven. I know they are not that smart
tinytim Thanks this. -

Its split sleeper.. Do the math you slept 3 hours got up and drove 30mins now u have 10.5 hours? Thats a split sleeper 2 hour break then a 8 hour break. = full break
