    I took mine at the Albany DMV... Twice. The first time, the lady administering the test was from the car DMV covering for the guy who usually does it, who was home sick. She didn't give me the proper amount of room for a blindside parallel, and I failed. The second time, the usual guy was there and I passed.

    When you pass driving test for your CDL, you have CDL. Contract with company states you must remain employed with them for contract duration otherwise held financially liable for training. Best off getting training time in then look for better long-term opportunity.
