They're a business, your a business. Play the game. Call the consignee and state that you can't make the delivery Tuesday. A week from the original, as you have a big job that'll take you 5 weeks to complete.
Store the furniture at a cross dock or a first month free storage facility, and have the consignee sweat on it. If they still don't budge, they never needed the profuct in the first place.

I'd also send them the bill for at least the first week of storage.

Or you can let the broker and consignee walk all over you like they're doing right now and you do t make out on anything.

Does your paperwork state that you must complete the deliveries in one day? If not, the receiver is refusing delivery so return to your home terminal, unload and store in a safe, dry location and charge mileage, unload and storage fees.

At this point, we've given you boatloads of info to do with it.

Are you still in a pickle? Or did you figure this out?

    100 bucks a day?

Tell the customer you have the product In storage and your charging them 100 bucks a day.

Since they turned you away, they say it's business. Well tell them this is the cost of doing business.

You will probably want to charge more because your product was refused

    Terry270 Thanks this.
