All you idiot super truckers take your driving gloves off and your sandals. Burn your track suits and grow up. He leases at ATS. He actually works for his checks doing flatbed, stepdeck and heavy hauls unlike you lazy no good dock bumpers. Now check out his thread before you keep looking Dumber then you already do.

I don't lease, I bought my truck from a dealer and did regular financing, yet, It amazes me how people on this site don't seem to understand, buying OR leasing a truck is the same as opening a restaurant, store or bar....it's a small business start up, and if you don't treat it that way, you WILL fail.....I know so many O/O who run their business like company drivers...some can barely tell you what engine their truck has!!!!
One even asked me to help him find the windshield washer reservoir!!!!NO JOKE!!!!
My point is, the large failure rate on leases can be attributed, from what I've read, to two things:

    1. some leases are WAY better than others,

    2. The guy who signed the lease.

    I could be wrong.....

well Arn't you the internet rambo! You know all about me. He has never provided anything more then gross figures. End of argument! I am, sure he works his four point contact off for what he feels is his honest wages. But to me don't tell me some one brings home x when it really is Y.

Im doing a lease 4 months to go. made enough money to set aside enough cash for engine rebuild. which ill do. Plus ill be with a shipper gets me home everynight no weekends. Or i can shuttle loads to from plant 40 mi round trip 100.00 load 800 a day. My credit sucks so the lease was good for me. My lease some months .31 others .49 and thats after all bills paid. I spend money on truck that isnt always necessary so my YTD fig could be higher. At end of the day im making company driver pay. Except ill have a title . company driver has a job. I been driving 23 yrs this is my first lease . Never missed a truck payment.

I ve learned only way to get a raise in tru king is to advance your career. In 1991 i made 900 take home in 2008. I made 900 take home In 2025 guess what your gonna make 900 take home. I started out at .26mi in 1991. In 2008 i was .42 paycheck same regulation cost of living companies charges back to driver blah blah your making 900.00 a week and alays will.

Im getting tired being on road so im doing something about it. 46 month lease i put 17000 in saving . Thats way more than i did as a company driver in 23 yrs.

1 st yr maint cost 7000 . 2 nd 9500 3yr 9800. This yr 12000 already .And my still trucking. Money management is key.

Leasing a truck suck because alot of decision are controlled by desk jockeys. But do your job everybody gets thru it. Then your rewarded
