you have a LOT of work ahead of you to do it properly... is this a show-only ride or a working truck?

You can start off by putting smaller tires on it. Low pro 22.5 instead of 24.5 will begin lowering it. After that I think it looks stupid but then I am of the opinion that if you wanted a lowered pickup, buy and El Camino. Same opinion of all the 1/2 ton trucks running around pulling things that are way too big for them.

Sounds like an inframe is on your short list of to-do.
