Without naming names, a certain brokerage company has listed on their rate sheet that Macropoint must be activated 2 hours prior to pickup, otherwise carrier is subject to a $250 fine. Is this even legal?

Will you guys please post who these Brokers are...What's the Big Secret?.

And NO- They cannot do that to you- They have the option of not using your services also.

Tell their customer about their intentions and watch them Roll on the floor laughing ,While they contract with YOU directly.

You guys just keep letting these brokers Control your operation...You'll never get anywhere in Life, let alone this profession.

    Knight Transportation.

I rejected the load, btw, after I saw that. Seemed like another way for them to scam money off of truckers.

I had this issue a while ago with RMX. The lady I dealt with HAD to be brand new at being a broker. Didn't disclose all details until after I was loaded, and made a fuss about the MP. I said my phone wasn't capable of it, thought I was in the clear.

    Then.... this

Mind you I made my check calls on being loaded and where I was when I was laying down. Went to sleep by 4 and needless to say I wasn't happy. Now, u will sooner deadhead before I deal with a load that requires MP

    ATS also requires Macropoint.

Its really no big deal. Its a small app that goes on your smart phone. You check in,.. Enroute, Loaded, Delivered. Done. You can opt out of Macro point at any time.

I was apprehensive at first. But the load paid too good to turn it down, so I just gave them what they wanted.

I've done many loads for ATS and never had any problems due to Macro Point.
