    It really is important, before you move a truck after taking your eyes off of it, as they say "get out and look", well before you get in the driver's seat, look underneath, look in front, look around. Every time.

    We ha e those other things on ours, so I don't really know how they work. But I thought they block the view of underneath the trailer

    Depends on your perspective, looking end to end at ground level would be within the area that's walled off from the side with those.

    i have never found anyone under my trailer but i did see someone sleeping under a dropped trailer at a truck stop once
