Let me try to explain why the month of March has so much traffic:
Spring Break: Virtually every college and university closes their school for a week in March. That means students will be driving home, or driving to the beach in Florida, or driving to the Corpus Christi area for fun in the sun. Also, some of these young drivers drive like they are "bullet proof" and can drive pretty crazy. Not all, but some.
March Madness Basketball Tournament: 64 college teams compete for the college basketball national championship. You will have students and ex-students driving all over the country to watch these games.
St. Patrick's Day: St. Patrick's Day is now almost a national holiday. There are parades all over the country. Some of these parades draw 100,000 people. There is a lot of drinking and driving going on.
And, if I may add, gasoline is about $1.75 a gallon across the nation, which encourages more driving in general.
Be patient and careful out there, my brothers and sisters.
March is a very heavy traffic month

Has the opposite effect here in Phx. No kids driving to school, they're all at home in bed! No parents driving their kids to school either.
Much less traffic for us.Getsinyourblood Thanks this.
