I am starting Orientation on February 22nd. That would put me hopefully completing finishing school around the end of March. If I am assigned a truck by the end of March, I will be good for the bonus program beginning April 1, correct? If I am assigned my truck after April 1, does that mean I am not eligible for any bonus until the third quarter (July-Sept)?

Ended the 2nd qtr with 101 pts. Got 7.5 mpg. So far this qtr I'm at 7.78 mpg n at 109 pts. Looking at a goal of 7.8. Always looking for a challenge

I'm somewhere around 101 points as well for Q2. Only got .04 cpm for Q1. Winter tends to be a challenge in more ways than one.

To Sarge and anyone else who cares to reply,
I'm doing a little bit of life planning for the next few years. Currently own and operate my own small business and expect to transition into OTR trucking in the next probably 2 yrs or so. Taking a hard look at flatbedding, first generally for better pay (than a box) and second for the incumbent exercise, and Mavrick is sounding like a good company.
Being single, I'm thinking I'd be a 'permanent live on the road' and wondering if you have thoughts on that lifestyle? Would think a good question for those who are doing this...
Also, was thinking that after a few yrs full time experience (assuming all goes well enough) of transitioning to something along the lines of 6 to 9 months full time OTR and 3-6 mths off time (to travel). I have no idea if that's possible be it with Mavrick or any other company, or even good to ask a recruiter. Any input on that?
thanks, glenn -
I went with Maverick for similar reasons. Just retired from the military, was traveling the US already in my rv, talked to some Truckers and thought it might be cool to do the same thing but get paid, thought flatbed would replace my time in the gym and at times it is good exercise, so far so good for me. I ended up going glass but I had a flatbed trainer and I've done at least much physical work with glass, probably more.
