MCP200 power down

    This thing is always shutting down. Anyone know if the setting can be changed?

    wish i could help w/that one but i have d old one which isnt any better mine will shut off at any time stay for a few minutes and then come back on...self reset i guess.....sucks when im trying to do a depart call and it does that

    I reboot mine right after i start, as it steals my right speaker. go to system, then speakers and hit the change button. it will reboot your system.

    I do the same thing as it wants my left speaker. Wouldn't mind unhooking that, the internal speaker is loud enough.

    Wow ...I know this post is really old but I suffered the same inconvenience until rewired the fuse to a constant power port instead of just ignition based. Just find an empty fuse slot that has power with the key off and embed a wire with any sized fuse. I also did this to my stereo so I wouldn't lose the Bluetooth to my phone every time I turned the key. Here's a pic: 20151108_123426.JPG
