I want to get a Midland 75-785 CB handhandle radio for my truck when I'm on my hometime. I seen them at Pilot truck stops for $60 everytime I go to a pilot they are always out of stock and selling like hotcakes I looked at Best Buy WalMart they want a $100 for it. I'm wondering is the Midland 75-785 CB handhandle radio any good? Worth the price?

Hand held CB, I thought that went out with LCD displays.

I wouldn't bother with it, get a good Cobra CB.

Unless Midland has changed over the last few years don't waste your money. They're a throw away radio. And hopefully it gets thrown away before somebody buys it! :biggrin_25525:

I have a Midland 5001z that I bought in 2011. It is still working perfectly today, 4 years later. Running stock and the stock mic sounds great. A few have been convinced I have a big radio or base station. Maybe I have the odd one in the batch?

I have a couple Midland handhelds with a BNC connector for the antenna on top and they both work just fine. Both of them are about 10 years old
