looks like they're getting smaller. Check it out. Called the Z1
This unit has been designed by a company called Human Design Medical and can fit in the palm of your hand or coat pocket.
It runs on lithium battery power and weighs only 10 oz.
if James Dyson can revolutionize the vacuum cleaner technology, then it was only going to be a matter
of time before they did something with Cpap machines.
Going to be interesting. I didn't see any mention of any Govt approval yet.
And hopefully the cost will come down as time unfolds but I won't hold my breath on that.Wild Murphy Thanks this. -
Whoa! Space age.
-
Not Many insurance company's will pay for it, I was looking at it also.
Wild Murphy Thanks this. -
I have BCBS of Tennessee. It might be a little pricey but im glad to know they are this size and with batteries... FREEDOM!
-
Excuse my ignorance, but why does one need a cpap machine? Why are you not able to breath while sleeping? Just curious.
-
I'll stick with my Resmed for now, I just started my treatment a month & 1/2 ago, so I doubt if my insurance will cover a 2nd machine already.

Ever heard of sleep apnea? Well this little gadget will help some guys get a good nights sleep.
As most of us know, the FMCSA are on the warpath against truckers with this condition.
Apparently according to that lot, we are a potential danger to society. Cpap to the rescue!!
luckily I don't think I'll need one but these units are getting smaller. I just thought I'd pass on what I found. I think they're a decent price.
Not all that expensive considering, but I guess that price is a state of mind.
If insurance co don't want to pay for them, then I guess you can offset it on your taxes as an expense.
But they sure beat the old clunky units that aren't very practical.
Good luck.
