It looks like I'll be moving to Montreal by this time next year--I'm fairly certain my company won't have me live 7hrs away(plus that would suck anyway for the days off--all that extra driving ).

Does anyone know of reputable companies in the Montreal area? I figure I might as well start scoping things out now.

I'm just shy of 2 yrs experience, like being OTR for longer periods, need to bring my dog and have flatbed, dry van and reefer experience. Willing to try bulk if the periods out on the road are long enough.

I also have dual citizenship for the U.S. and am considering checking out companies in Plattsburgh....about an hour south of the border.

I have heard that the pay is less in the PQ but I also understand that the cost of living is light years cheaper than Toronto! Not that I would say no to good pay for honest work!

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

There is way better option than DFS Robert or Normandin out there....Quebec is a small market but there is few good options available.

Just to name few, i believe Dupont out of St-Bruno and Audec in St Catherine are good options.
