If it is Martin Transportation out of Michigan... Run away. They do not pay for the work done, have awful equipment and extremely rude dispatchers. On the plus side if you don't mind working way too much and no home time then the pay isn't so bad, except when you add up the pay with the hours you make like $13 an hour and are never home.

    already gone Thanks this.

almost all of the mts trucks here (Indy) are new or very close to it. no idea what they pay. I drive by their terminal every night going to work.

It is that bad. We have huge turn over here and even the dispatchers in Michigan are dropping like flies.

    LETICIA1965 Thanks this.

Thanx for the heads up! I don't think I'll be wasting time with them.
I'll trying to find a good paying local driving position closer to home (Ottawa Lake, MI). Tired of driving 45mins to and from work, especially with Winter coming around again . . .

Yes most trucks are newer models but if it’s a day can then it gets ran around the clock so 1300 miles a day adds up quickly on those new trucks plus slip seat no dedicated day cabs for local drivers. You get what is available.
