And people wonder why i refuse to become a trainer at my current job as i am the only one other than the owners of the co with the experiance

 

In my opinion there's no reason a trainer needs to off load a trainee on the shoulder of the hwy... Very unprofessional to say the least..

Get a grip trainer.. thats just wrong period..

Yep, same thing happened to me in middle of Alabama. I had to hike for 5 miles to the closest hotel, after that I got a bus ticket to the terminal. But let me tell you what, that was one of the best days in trucking I ever had. I was happy be out of that disqusting, smelly, tomato rotten truck.... people are ####ing gross. The trainer himself was an idiot...But what did you do, you may ask me. I told him was an idiot. So, yeah I could see why I got stranded.

 

Trainer, you're fired! Or would be if he was one of my guys. Unless the law is involved, there is NEVER an excuse to leave someone on the side of the road. That's a petty, immature stunt.

 

we don't know the circumstances of this yet? If I was a trainer and being threatened by a student, You bet your back side I'd have him out of the truck, I don't care where we are at the time, Threaten me and your out!, but I wouldn't be a trainer, just not worth it to me
