Never drove for either, but I know Navajo has the better looking trucks. However, Schneider you have more options like van, tanker, etc.

I'd imagine Schneider would give you many more drop and hook loads which is a plus. Navajo is reefer so you'll be doing many live unloads and 3 AM delivery times. What's the pay difference?

Navajo has APUs. I haven't seen Schneider trucks with any. Navajo runs reefer and dry van.. on occasion, they'll do power only contracting to deliver trailers. Schneider has dry van, flatbed, and tanker (maybe others, those are the ones I remember seeing). Schneider is the larger company, probably has the larger hiring area, will probably be more likely to expect you run into Canada, but I know #### all about driving for either.

I travel along with schneider quite often..very slow trucks.
They never let other drivers pass easily.
Im guessing its taught in safety training.

First year sucks, but after that your golden.
My dedicated route at jb pays $200 a day, drop freight, bring back the mt trailer, all drop and hook.
    200-400 miles a day for $200.
Bobtail every night to a ts for parking.
    Need a year experience though.

    Oh...

... by the name of the thread I thought it had to do with a 10 mile pass.
