This question is really more for my father than me. He got into trucking a few months ago working for swift, and he had 3 driving accidents with them. He quit swift for another company but the position got taken. Now he can't find work because of his driving record with swift. He mentioned a way of getting his record cleared but thus far no progress. My question is what are all of his options right now to either get his record cleared or find work?
Need advice

Tell us more about the accidents; were they "incidents" or "accidents?"
Carolina Cargo might hire him. Do the online application then give them a call tomorrow to follow up. -
An "incident" is something like backing into a pole or curbing a tire.
An "accident" is something like hitting another vehicle at a traffic light or rear ending another vehicle. -
3 in a few months, and that's the only experience he has, that's going to be a tough one unless they are really minor incidents.

Far as getting those accidents removed from his record, not likely unless none of them were his fault and it sounds like thats not the case.

Only job I can recommend is maybe applying for a dock worker position at an LTL outfit, such as Fed Ex Freight or UPS Freight, and work your way up to a driving position. Your dad may eventually have an an opportunity to yard jockey as well if he wish, or he may like driving around in a forklift all day. UPSF dock workers top out around $28 an hour after 4 years.
