found something very interesting. this may change my mind on tires. maybe my long lasting lugs are not so bad with a higher rr.

I have been thinking about putting some different drive tires on after i save up a little more money.
My truck has the Bridgestone M726's and they have about an inch of tread on them. They're going to be around for awhile. -
Kind of old info shows fuel at .95 a gallon.
370,000 miles at 6mpg is 61,666.66 gallons x 3.409= 210,221.64 on deep tread tires with high RR
370,000 miles at 6.5mpg is 56923.07 gallons x 3.409= 194,050.74+2320 for at set of tires at 275,000miles=196,370.74 a saving of 13850.90. for the low RR tires.
Personally I have 370,000 or so miles on my XDA Xone's right now with 9/32ns of tread left. -
