Navistar must be somewhat confident because I am looking at new International and Cat trucks and they both offered up the names and phone numbers of 300 customers that have the new SCR engines and they both keep telling me to call these customers and ask them.
Need info on the MaxForce since it went to SCR,

Yes the Maxx 15 used the Cat block, but the 13L is basically a MAN engine.
And unfortunately the newly announced return to 15L engines by Cat......is not going to be a real Cat engine either.KANSAS TRANSIT and Hammer166 Thank this. -
Yeah, the MF15 used the Cat block. The MF13 was based on the MAN engine design from Germany.
Oops, beat me to it! Sorry!KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure after the last disaster Navistar is making sure this new SCR N13 is going to work. They can't afford another failure. At least you would hope they did their homework.
They seem to be offering some good base warranties at purchase now.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.

The SCR system Navistar is using is 100% Cummins!
