I am trying to decided on purchasing a 2012 Peterbilt 386 or a 2011 Kenworth T660, both with a cummins engine. However, I would like to know the mpg of both trucks and also the weight of either of the trucks. Any help is appreciated.
Need information on truck

Have seller print out ECM report long form, that will tell you idle time, comp. est. fuel mi. that can be a start to remove trucks you will not look at any more, spending $ before you buy a truck by running dino. and oil report can save you money in the long run?

The 2012 will be an EPA10 SCR engine. The 2011 could be a pre SCR EPA07 engine. The Cummins EPA07 engines seem to be more trouble prone than the SCR engines, especially the DPF and EGR systems. My company had a lot of trouble with them.

If the Broncos win, pick the Kenworth. If the Panthers win, pick the Peterbilt.

On the Kenworth you can check the door weight, tag should be by the door frame. According to a Kenworth dealer that I talked to a few years ago the door weight includes all fluids the driver and 25 gal.of fuel.
