    With that logic, any type of wrap you use would fall under that same criteria as the wrap puts the cords together and would rub also.

    During one D.O.T I got in California, the D.O.T officer commended me for braiding them so they would not drag on the cat walk. Paraphrasing what he said, "good idea you have there or I would of had to write you up for the air lines dragging."

    This may have already been mentioned but bungy cord and zip ties have always worked for me.
