Hello all! I am in the process of starting a new venture with an entrepreneur who already owns one truck, but is looking to keep a tractor somewhat local. The idea behind all this is for this extra tractor to be available for a drum corp tour over the summer months, and a indoor percussion tour on weekends in the winter months, but also to run loads in between the two activities. So the type of work I'm looking for would be seasonal driving, or regional/dedicated driving.

I am looking heavy into hauling flowers, as that type of business seems to coincide with our drumming seasons, but also looking at other options. We have our own authority and can pretty much go anywhere. I have toyed with going LTL linehaul or intermodal as well. We would like to buy a few trailers and be completely independent of using someone else's equipment. Landstar may be another option.

Any suggestions or advice would be apprecitated:)
