    Well after more than a year it looks like clicking on the question mark to return to "classic googlemaps" is no longer an option.

    Not for figuring up an accurate spot quote in seconds it doesn't! Nor streetview either. I was trucking years ago with no cell phone and can route anything east of the Miss river off the road atlas in my noggin but that ain't the point.

    What??! They took the classic function away. I hate the new google. The trees look terrible, and it takes forever to load, and usually crashes.

    It's the curse of technology. Invent something that works, then eff it all up with a bunch of useless "improvements".

    I'm going to take the plunge & buy Microsoft Streets & Tips. Microsoft has discontinued it, but you can still buy it on Amazon. I have a good friend who swears by it & I like the idea of being able to look something up without having to get online. I do run in areas where I can't get any internet.

    I'm seeing Classic GoogleMaps still available as an option on my PC, but no option when pulling Google Maps up on my phone.
