It's possible, especially with only a dinky HR licence.

 

Firstly to get a job in Australia you'll have to have the right authority which means you'll need a work visa of some sort to get a truck licence you'll need to do a written multi choice computer test which allows you to have a learners permit then when your good enough to pass the driving test you book in for that and if you pass you'll have your MR licence issued, after holding your MR for 12 months you can then apply for a HR.
