You'll be fine, there'll be a few who won't work with you, but most will.

You'll be fine
first 6 months 80% of brokers will load you
6-12 months 95% will -
Also by bottom of the barrel, you mean...?
Reply will be greatly appreciated as I am trying to jump on O/O as well. -
Bottom of barrel means brokers than low ball the rates.Cledus Snow, whoopNride and 6wheeler Thank this. -
I know we all get aggravated with them but like it or not brokers are an important source of freight. Even for established carriers with mostly their own direct. To have that mindset, us versus them all the time every time, is to shoot yourself in your own foot before you even leave the gates. Fostering relationships with good brokers will improve the bottom line.
Lite bug and Oscar the KW Thank this. -

Just had to talk like the trump campaign,
Your right; need to have a good relationship with some brokers -
The first few loads you haul are the most important , as it affects your carrier index score at a higher rate , for example if you fallout and your 2nd load ran with the company it will show your fallout ratio as 50% and detract people from being willing to run loads with you
