Yep, they don't babysit you or suffer fools. They also won't tolerate liars or if someone is Lazy. Its all on you the driver to take the initiative and get stuff done.

I applied 1/11/16, but I haven't been asked to provide any W-2s for the single employer I have been with for 17.5 years. Should I count myself lucky or should I take the W2s with me to Orientation when I attend from 1/25/2016 - 1/29/2016?

On a related issue, does anyone know how much a "trainee" would be indebted to Prime for, say, being encouraged to leave after PSD?

    Thanks!

Take them with you it would not hurt. Around 3700, but don't quote me on that. Also why should you be encouraged to leave. They will either hire you or not. You won't become an employee until after your PSD phase of training.

Not exactly, the contract says if you get through two weeks of PSD you own for the whole program. Quit after a week is half. You will not get a copy of your contract.

You have a 7 day free look period from the moment you step on your first trainers truck. If you decide in that 7 days this isn't the life for you, let your trainer and dispatcher know and you'll get routed back to SpriMo and you don't owe them anything except maybe a bus ticket. That should be how it is unless they changed it in the past couple of months.

Thanks, RedOctober83. I plan to start and complete the Prime Student Driver segment as well as the TNT segment, and it's nice to know that I have that seven day "evaluation" period.

Thank you, Big Papaxx. Would you happen to know if the tuition cost is still $3,700? If it is, that's a really good price to get the CDL and training, especially with the amount of OTR training a Student receives through the program.

    Just trying to clarify.

If quiting within first week of PSD, off hook for obligation. Go on your own way.

Get through PSD & get license, then employed & obligated for 1yr.

If you leave at at least 6mos after employed , prorated for half of tuition fee. If full year, obligation is completed.
