New to the forum and hopefully trucking

    I can retire from my current job in a little over a year and hopefully start my second career. I already have a 2011 f350 and I am thinking about getting a hotshot trailer and start driving. I will not need a full income because I will have my retirement. But would really like to see the country and make a little extra on the side. I have always enjoyed driving. I would like some comments on how to get started and what else anyone might think. thanks

    Keith, I know quite a few people doing just that. Mostly retired out of the military. Although you will have to work at it because of your fixed cost involved in business. I certainly enjoy this as long as I stay out of certain parts of the country. And different times of the year affect that also.
