    I'd tell him "go ahead, report it stolen." Then he gets in #### or charged by the cops for wasting their time. You would likely have logs, BOLs, etc that you could use as proof as well as the company credit card w/your name on it. I'm sure there are probably tax forms you had to fill out as well when you started employment that could be used as proof of employment as well.

    Yeah. I already returned it last night. Had the cop and a taxi driver as witness that I parked his truck and returned his keys and credit card to his dispatcher.
