So I have a question. TMC really doesn't allow Locs(dreadlocks) no matter the length. This is very upsetting for me. There are pending cases against police departments that won't allow their officers to have locs. If a person can keep them neat looking what's the issue. I see drivers with tattoo sleeves that look horrible but j have seen many people with very neat and clean locs me for one and they aren't long but I can't believe companies are allowed to get away with this still. This is more of a deal breaker than having driver facing cameras.

Then don't work for them. Companies can make any policy they want.

I understand your opinion but I was seriously looking at this company and I am also a vet I just don't understand what a persons hair style has to do with their capability to work/drive.

It's a free country companies should be free to have any policies and requirements they want. If you don't like it move on to another company.

Did the military allow your dread locs while you were in enlisted?

I don't understand why some business owner put "gun free zone" sticker on their window but don't provide any security to their customers, but it's their policy.
Schneider has a no cell phone while driving not even Bluetooth policy, no split sleeper policy and no working pass 70 policy, lot of werid unnecessary policy.

No sir but are we really comparing the military to a truck company? Also the military has adjusted to the times in some areas like allowing Muslims to wear their religious garments while in uniform. I bet if I had a confederate flag I could have that displayed on my truck tho??? Do you think that's right? If you do that's fine but.......

I can agree with that W.H.O. I just feel that WE as a country should adjust with the times is all. There are a lot of reasons not to hire a driver to work for your company and I don't think hair should be one.
