Greeting to all.
I have a CDL. I work for a Car Dealership in Maryland. I deliver new FORD cars and non comerical trucks (F150, 250, 350's) all over the counry and return to Maryland with a trade in. Am I subject to DOT regulations.REO6205 Thanks this. -
If you are driving a vehicle over 10,000 GVWR (or subject to HAZMAT) for commercial purposes you are a commercial vehicle by DOT regulations.
Most 350's will be over 10K GVWR, so will need to be transported following DOT rules.
edited to add: if vehicle is driving interstate.Last edited: Dec 27, 2022
