O/O Pay

    I think he said Schneider. That is more than double what most places are paying their o/o for a fuel surcharge. No idea what any independents are getting.

    .23 this week for me. There is a generic formula to figure out FSC.

    FSC is the actual cost OVER $1.00 gallon at 5.5 MPG. (Some companies are using 6.5 MPG now)

    My total cost this year is .316 cents per mile. Dought anyone is paying over that for FSC!!!

    Schneider isn't paying that good of a fsc. Ours is about $.20 on avg.

    So in conclusion... Fleece is never the best option? I used to want to own a truck, but I'm probably going to just go LTL somewhere. (eyes on you old dominion)

    It depends on the person I guess. I'm doing good in what you call fleece. Not sure why people call it that. It's no different than if I went to Ryder & leased a truck, but whatever. I would say you probably made the correct decision.

    Nope. I have myself on weekly payroll salary. For organization and taxation purposes, I am both the owner and employee driver.

    Well I drive under my aunts authority for 200 a week and haul all Chr. Are there any other companies paying better than them?
