When you look at the loads available around your NAL, the deadhead miles are "straight line" miles. Then once you select a load, the computer calculates the HHG deadhead miles.
The reason is, if deadhead was calculated for each load on the list, it would take a long time to prepare.

My Rand McNally GPS does the some thing when I ask for point of interest along a route. It will display straight line distance until I select a specific location.

    I'm talking Loaded miles.

If 1 part of their system can calculate correct miles (Navigo ) then they could all calculate correct. But if they did that the true rate would be displayed and there wouldn't be a wait to come on the choice program.

Bottom line is they know this choice program is better than most others out there for ease of use and earning. As long as I can earn I will stay until better comes along......unless they start profiting off the repositioning fee. If they can charge 250 potentially because an IC moves without an mt seems like they could also pay 250 to send an IC out of route to go get an mt.

    Food for thought.

That's the point I was originally trying to make Tennman.

I don't plan on leaving or making a big stink out of it. Just voicing an opinion. The rate per mile is not right.

I am making money though, and at the end of the day that what matters.
