    Truckduo, while I appreciate the thanks, I'm pretty sure the only reason I know the old 55mph states is I'm flippin old.

    The side effect of such important knowledge is every time I leave Florida I'm half way to Atlanta holding traffic up at 55 before I remember they raised the limit. in Illinois, well I'm already in Wisconsin by the time I remember it's no longer 55.

    Makes no sense to me. Let's make 2 lane rural hwys faster than a 4 or more lane interstate.

    State patrol is very lenient on the I-5 in OR & CA. My experience has been they won't whiff at trucks doing 61.
