orientation on 22nd a few questions

Good morning!

I finally after years of indecisiveness went to a 160 hour course and got my CDL. I was hired by Melton and am going to orientation on the 22nd. I was just curious everything i have read states that orientation is a week long "intervew" so with that said, what do i wear the first day?

Every other job or at least interview i went to warrants a pair of dress pants shirt and tie, does this one? what did you guys see people wear ? just asking because id like to make a decent impression and i'm not quit sure with the rule of thumb being dress one step higher then you would dress at work, what i would wear in that case.

Anyway super excited to finally be making some money thanks in advance for any replies.

I was pre hired and now on a trainer truck. Just a heads up orientation dress code was not formal at all I wore a collard shirt jeans and boots and dealt over dressed.

 

ya that should be fine they don't allow shorts though at orientation only in the hotel or off time.
