I just signed up to Manulife $57.00, $5,000,000 EMerg. medical, 10 day trips,no travel ins.which I noticed that's in case your trip is cancelled, lost baggage etc. so I save $40.00.
Ya, I guess I assumed too my employers just had me covered but found out that isn't the case.
I'll be glad when the Teamsters get us all coverd - 10-4. -
CAA also does the medical insurance, yearly for me is around 50 bucks a year for 14 days at a time in the US.

We make sure all drivers have out of country coverage. Presently using NAL in Ontario and it's under $20/mth. After the 3 mth trial period, the drivers are covered under our insurance.
We had drivers starting who assured us they were covered under their spouse's plan. After informing them to check, they found out they were only covered for personal trips and not for business. For under $20/mth it's worth it until they're covered under the company plan. -
