What kind of work? What trailer you pulling? Care for where you go?
Saskatchewan outbound is not easy at all.. -
-
Do you have your own trailer?
I'd look at signing on with trimac. I don't know how one would go about being independent own authority with tankers.
Prairie boy would likely have better info. -
I don't have my own trailer .
Im pulling liquid nitrogen as independent , but it's been terribly slow.
I appreciate all the feedback thanks. -
If you can get your tractor on with Trimac, do it. You know what they pay at all times and the paycheque is never late, they have all kinds of routes that you can pick from.
04 LowMax and Yves kanevil Thank this. -
I'd caution you to talk to a few owner ops at Trimac before just signing on there. I drove for them out of Calgary for 5 years and work was up and down on all product lines. Losing contracts was common. Guys would sometimes go to different terminals to stay busy. There's a terminal in Sundre that hauls chips to Hinton they seemed the most steady.

I've been hearing a lot of guys dating they can't make any money working for trimac but they are all oil haulers and 90% of oil haulers are horrible business people who wouldn't/won't survive if their gross incomes drop.
