Well the title says it all. I started the truck and was sitting there with the driver door open and the passenger window went down while not touching anything. I have no codes in the dash. It's a 2009 volvo 670. Has anyone have this happen before. I checked the fuse but don't know if or where the relay may be. Any help? Thanks
Passenger window went down on its own and won't go up

Pop out the pass. side window switch on drivers door panel ck. if still has wires pluged in, then try pass. side switch to make pass. window go up.
OPUS 7 Thanks this. -
Hes right mine does it to.

if trucks have cable type window regulators its probably a broken regulator, I have replaced hundreds....

Sounds like the switch is shorted out for the down position. Do what baha said above.

I had that happen too.Stupid volvos..
I could get mine back up,but it would immediately override,
and go back down.It finally stopped, but scared me,cause it
was cold.Maybe try to cut power, and see if responds, after reconnect in.
Last resort, try to slam the door, and hope for a jog sets it right.
Good luck -
Had the same problem. It was raining when the window went down. Scarred the cat who rides in the passenger seat. Had to replace the switch. Moisture was the problem.
Skate-Board Thanks this. -
It's the switch. Whether it's the d/s or p/s switch you may need to experiment. Had this happen to me several years ago in my old lease truck (2010 VNL780). The d/s (which has both switches) went on mine... Figured it out when I disconnected the p/s and still couldn't get the window back up. Disconnected the d/s switch and voila the p/s brought he window back up. I wound up pulling the fuse so the window wouldn't move at all and bought a new switch from the dealer. 260-ish bucks for the new one.

door control unit is a small electronic board with window motor driver MOSFET. It may fail. To be sure swap pass side and dr/ side door units (just pop out with knife) and try. If works - change unit ore this MOSFET if not - check voltage supply of door unit, may be wires are broken in place they are bent. else... fix motor

Thanks for the insight. The window went up later on then. But I'll remember this for when it does it again.
