Sirio has a good reputation. I will probably give them a try next time I need an antenna. I do know personally those who have run them and they work well.

    rabbiporkchop and Ougigoug Thank this.

I have heard that it has a slightly higher Q than the comparable Wilson 5000 which would make it a slightly more efficient antenna but I doubt you would notice much of a difference.
Antennas with a high Q are narrowband, antennas with a low Q are wideband. The higher the value of Q, the more sensitive the input impedance is to small changes in frequency.
A narrow banded antenna should always outperform a wide banded antenna at the center frequency

    Big_m and Ougigoug Thank this.

As soon as i have the antennas i will let you know what i see, there is a crowd of cb/hams close to where i live some stations i hear well some are little out of range i will hear the difference if there is one.

The only difference you might experience is a transmitting difference. I don't think a four inch difference in the antenna length will have hardly any effect on what you hear.

    Ougigoug Thanks this.

What about conception and design instead of lenght to maybe catch further station?

    Your toughts...
