Finally got my truck from the shop and my hood doesnt come and sit flush up to the fire wall of the cab. Whats the easiest way to align the hood so it fits all the way back up against the cab and firewall. Thanks in advance.

If it, 's a unibuilt, you don't want it up against the firewall. A unibuilt cab moves with the cab air bags but the hood does not move. Mine has 3/4 inch +. If its to close it will tear the hood and cab up. I see yours is a 97 so its a unibuilt.

Ya that ain't right lol
Bring it back to the shop who did it and ask the manager if this is how they do all there work! Geez that's bad.
It should sit flush with the top of the cowl and about an 1" away from it .
Yours is about 2" lower then cowl and about 4-5" away lmao!
Small child can dam near do a valve set with out opening your hood lol -
Haha ya. I didn't think that was right. Thanks for the help

I ordered all new hood bushings as mine are in bad shape. Going to replace them all and realign the hood.
