predator 10 k antenna /freightliner cascadia

I'm using that spot for the same thing. I removed one of the bolts holding the spot mirror, put a bird perch there and mounted a Tram satellite antenna.

 

I have a spot mirror there as well.

 

I don't know how I missed that! Looked straight at it........ I like that mounting system. The only problem for me is I slip seat every week I drive so it is easier to mount the antenna on the mirror since I can do it standing on the ground. I'd have to hunt me up a ladder every time with the spot mirror mount. I'd give it a shot if I drove the same truck all the time though.

That's what I do if the main driver doesn't already have something half way decent set up. The spot mirror on the passenger side may prove to be the best way to go. Wouldn't be convenient for me though.

 

Cophased dipole for the Cascadia would be the best way to go.

 

Lol..Just for fun and to see i added a longer shaft(went from a 6" base shaft to a 20")..Results surprized me some..I pick up more electronic noises and got rid of alot of impedence..
