Bigger sleeper is so you can stretch out after you 400 mile day at 58 mph.

Pete moving along at 58mph just seems sooo wrong!

They believe it will attract and retain drivers. I think companies in general, not just trucking outfits, seem to forget that crappy pay and general BS is what drives people away in the first place.

According to the article "Prime will put the trucks on with its affiliate success leasing"... So 900 more fools on the road...

Actually Success Leasing is the company that holds the titles to all of Prime's trucks for both the lease side and company side. So it doesn't mean it's only for the lease ops.

So I take it you happen to be a firm proponent of company driving over lease?

Most companies are that way. It's a risk management thing that allows the amount of risk the company is exposed to be minimal. Also, when I was a company if you look in the permit book you'll see the truck is from success leasing and you had to have a copy of the lease agreement between prime and success in that permit book.

Steel Dragon and darthanubis Thank this.
