wow and wow, i drove for 20yrs. and yes i have hauled catavers, ( bodies ), the bill of lading, discribes them as such, must maintain 40deg., with a large carrier ( refer) and then hauled candy with the same trailer, the trailer was sanitized after unloading, the bodies were in plastic bags and then put in boxes coated with wax. it is not un-common,to do so i have also hauled loads, with government escort, to locations that were not given to driver untill ready to go, then you follow the gov. agent to location.we did not have to stop at scales, we had to be a team.so the load did not stop for anything but fuel and eats, we ran from n. y. harbour to calif, with stops in between, to pick up and deliver.it was rather exciting, because we never knew what we were hauling. there was no bill of lading. the agents treated us very well.i never saw a weapon but am sure they had them. the reason for telling this, is if you truck long enough you may get involved, in all kinds of loads.but to haul illlegal drugs for uncle seems a little fetched. we also hauled money to cal. to be shredded. that was a load you never knew you had until you un-loaded it.you can tell by the seal on the trailer it is marked u.s.gov.and a number. I knw a drive that worked for them she use to be a O/O. When she sold her truck she went with them and never had a issue in the 10yrs there..

Wow, and here I thought the scary thing about PTL was the number of drivers they hire who cannot read bridge closure signs!! -
and do you think the government would have Swift driving a load of Coke on the chance the trailer would rollover and bust open wasting taxpayers dollars? on second thought -
I have to say PamS is quite entertaining!...As a trucker; personally, I don't give a rats ### what is in the trailer I am pulling, or where it's going. As long as I get paid for the miles and the check is good, it makes no difference to me.
