Question:Company at 100% on accidents

    So the idiots who work at my company have the accident score at 100% since two weeks ago and since then there have been 3 more accidents with a fatality on Friday...driver fault of course.
    With the new laws....what does this mean?
    Heard the DOT can close my workplace but not sure.

    Until their closed, DOT can do inspection's and give you tickets. That could make you unhireable.

    Is it a Chicago 1099 company ?

    They can and probably should be shut down UNLESS of course if a lot of these accidents werent the company/drivers fault but got reported that way, but it doesnt sound like that. But as a driver it could make all of your weigh station vists a pita.

    No a local Ohio based company...well they have two other terminals with about 300 trucks. Unhireable??!!! That could change things.....might just walk then.

    They were driver fault or more 'preventable' wrecks....the usual roll overs...running up on 4 wheelers and that kind of thing.
