Right pictures more watts and awful performance.
    Any questions?

That's only a very small part of the basics, there is a lot more involved than a spectrum and scope display.

Unfortunately most drivers think that those two particular tools are unnecessary when making modifications to radio equipment

Here is one better than most. Span on spectrum analyzer adjusted to conceal harmonics from the customer for a false sense of security. Negative peaks slightly pinched.

    Tuning or modifications?

Not too many actually modify a radio but rather hack them until they produce a false result.

When I was in school for electronics we touched on radios for a while and tuning and troubleshooting with Oscopes, it's INSANE how much of a specialized profession RADIOS by themselves are! It's not for everyone.

I cant tell you how many radios I have corrected that were splattering on the spectrum. Some CB shops just don't get it !!! I've been repairing radios for over 25 years for Police & Fire departments and Hobbyist. Without the correct tools you can mess up the air waves... Thank you for displaying this. 73's

This is more geared to the average driver with no knowledge of physics or electronics to dispel the popular misconception that it is possible to tune a rig with only a watt meter and a screwdriver.

Nobody needs an oscilloscope to tune a CB , EVER!!!!!!!!!!
get a peak and tune, some decent coax and an antanae.
    THAT'S IT!!!!!!
My peaked and tuned Connex 3300hp with old coax and the Predater antanae on this Cascadia that I never bothered to check SWR's does great.
I had Bob's CB shop in PA set the swr on my last cascadia....
