Hi all. I recently bought a 2005 Western Star, with the 86" Stratosphere sleeper The previous owner did a real number when installing a Kenwood radio. Nice radio at that. All the connectors are cut off and the wires just taped up to radio. Factory Sub-woofer not working properly either. would anyone seem to know where I can find the schematics or any info for this setup?
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Robert

On the back of the Radio should be a model number, this would help a lot in the search.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the reply. I will have to pull the radio and get the number when the truck gets back. What I really need is the truck wiring to know what is what and what powers the sub and so forth. Under the bunk where the sub is, there are 6 wires that come out of the sub, go into a unit that looks like and amp but not sure. I only think it is an amp cause it says Clarion on it. Then there is a pack of wire, like 20 or so that come out of that and disappear into the wall. I only assume they head up to the radio console, but which way they come to the radio... I don't know. There are many white wires up in there and a few white wires behind the radio are not being used and are taped up. By the way, it is a six speaker one sub system. Top console, doors and back top of sleeper.
Thanks -
Model number of the Clarion also. With this it will allow us to search and get the wiring diagram for the units.

I was in luck. He was stopped and able to get them. he sent me pics. I was mistaken the clarion is in the KW. This is a Monsoon. View attachment 81680 View attachment 81681 View attachment 81682 View attachment 81683
In the pic of wires there is a blue plug with a bunch of colored wires unused and a yellow with a thin white wire and just a white wire unused, as I was explained.
Hope this helps! -

Wonder if you realized your pictures aren't viewable by the rest of us? You have to go advanced, and manage attachements to get pics to work.
