Just a side note, see those yellow poles across the street? Can you imagine how many times trucks went all over their property before they were installed.

I always thought it would be a good idea having a backup camera for things like that. Where in brooklyn? That doesn't look all that bad, but kudos to doing it blind side. That puts you into a different category, at least that's what I'm told.

I would cringe at going up into all that with my truck. I'd hate to have a 300 inch WB truck doing that...

Looks like you didn't have to blind side it. I drive a day cab, so blind siding in NYC is routine for me. But when I had a sleeper with poor visibility on the blind side, I'd wrong-way it down a one way street to avoid blind siding into an off-street dock.

No parked cars? Rare for the city--and I agree--no reason to blindside if you didnt want to....

Ah yes I forgot to include that there is a church at the end of the street. So there is only 1 way coming in to the shipper. I could have made a right turn, backed between the intersection and backed on the drivers side. Problem is, the dock is at an angle like a home depot dock. A slight 10 degree or 2 oclock to the right. The garage entrance is straight, not the dock.

The brooklyn delivery was easy, they just unloaded me right on the street, no docks or anything.
