Rates have been dropping.

    In the last couple of days, rates have been dropping fast. I have seen loads going into the Northeast for 1.25. I usually don't complain, but its getting harder to put loads together. I don't see how lease guys are going to continue running with those weekly payments. OBTW let me make this clear.... This is not a lease or bashing Sni thread. so don't start.

    I'm almost to the breaking point on the rates. If they go any lower I would be better off to park my truck and find a good company job until conditions improve. The only way to off set low rates is too run big miles and that's not in my game plan.

    Schneider could be going after market share for the IPO and is willing to sell cheap freight, to make up for poor customer service, to get it.

    I was thinking the same thing. I just booked a load going to Andover, Ma. This is going to be interesting, I have not been up that way in 7yrs. lol
