I just bought a 2013 388 with Smart Nav, it has an option for 4 cameras to be viewed on the screen. Does anyone know what kind of cameras I can use and what it takes to hook them up? They obviously need to be weatherproof and shock resistant but black and white, low rez would be ok. Just hoping I don't have to go to Peterbilt for a camera.
Rear facing camera for stock smart nav screen on Pete.

I don't know but I suspect it has 4 RCA jack inputs somewhere, and any camera that can output a video signal into an RCA cable would work. These small cameras for vehicle use can be found almost anywhere from online sources, to Walmart and your local car parts store.

There are also "wireless" options to get the video signal from the remote camera to the nearby receiver (RCA output) but these have limited range and easily susceptible to radio interference
But I could not tell you where these inputs are located. Paccar may have extended them elsewhere from the back of the unit, for easier and more practical access.Last edited: Jul 12, 2015

Here you go. It looks like you'll need a Paccar specific harness from Pete and then choose your cam.
