Think I'll try soaking my hat in ice water tomorrow. Tried soaking it with tap water today, but that's about as refreshing as a sponge bath.

Then I had a hot cola. Then another!

Reason for edit: I miss those little dash fans on older trucks, my a/c sucks.

Today I stood in front of the reefer fan and exclaimed ahhhhhhh as the diesel operated reefer blasted the cool air on my face. That was 2 minutes then back to work

94 degrees with 90 percent humidity in SW Florida. Even trying to do work at night the humidity is brutal.Jumped into the pool this evening it had to be 93 degrees.

I wonder why no one has invented a device that hooks your reefer cold air into the cab. By say a removable flexi hose or something? Connected to a vent in the sleeper where you have a flow control. It would save money on idling the tractor all night and if your AC does go out in said tractor, it would be a nice backup.

Wet a towel with rubbing alcohol and put it around your neck. As the alcohol evaporates, it will feel cold to the touch.

It would be much easier to hang a hammock in the reefer.

Last week, I had the A/C in my hospital room set at 71 deg., my nurses thought I would freeze to death. This week, I have the A/C in the house set to 73 deg., my dog is comfy, the wife is a little chilly. Told the boss today I expect the A/C on the semi properly charged and working before I come back to work next week.
