i have a 88 w900 in the process of a cosmetic restoration I want to remove the sleeper so I can repair it and repaint it. it does have a heater in it and I think a/c ducts in there a main harness with a plug? it looks like it has body mount bushings like pick up.

Are you planning on operating the truck with the sleeper removed?

Heater hoses are easy, just pinch off both lines at the sleeper heater, unhook them and connect them together with a barbed union. That way you only lose whatever coolant was in the core and you can still run the engine. I'm not all that familiar with the 900B's but if you have a dedicated A/C system in the sleeper you will likely have to get the refrigerant recovered so you can disconnect the lines.

You can disconnect the ac lines under the passenger side between cab and sleeper usually the lines in the rear going into the box are very hard to get lose and break. Then under the drive side there's 3 plugs that power the sleeper
